I hope that the international grassroots movement will influence governments everywhere to bring about a just peace for both Israelis and Palestinians, and other peoples in the world.

  28. This is my promise: – to find peace in my heart, to find love by loving others, and compromise in working deeply with myself; by going strongly inside me, to find the answers that lead me to light, higher conscience and unconditional love. And so it is !

  29. To work for justice and peace for Israelis and Palestinians!

  30. I promise to alert my friends, who like myself are not Jewish, to the wonderful work being done by the Jewish Voice for Peace. Blessings on you all.

  31. I promise that I will focus my energies on doing what is best for the cause of Palestinian freedom and equal rights for all, instead of simply what feels best for myself. I promise to remind myself as often as necessary that this struggle isn’t about me, but about others. I promise to be fearless but sensible; to be a leader but also a follower; to shout loudly but listen carefully. I promise to keep going, to always have hope and to never stop fighting, until justice runs down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.

  32. I promise to do my best for peace and JUSTICE. I promise to honor this way the memory of my father and two grandparents victims of the Shoah and to firmly oppose to its misuse as excuse for crimes commited against the palestinians.

  33. I promise to work for justice and peace for both Israelis and Palestinias .

  34. I promise to work for peace and justice in Palestine based on human rights and international law and UN resolutions calling for the return of Palestinian refugees, proper compensation for decades of misery they suffered at the hands of the Zionists and for Jerusalem as a capital for the new state of Palestine.

  35. To embody tikkun olam in my being, doing, and activism.

    To organize authentically.
To build and be part of Jewish community for justice in Palestine and Israel.
To continue taking bold, vibrant, creative action with CODEPINK Women for Peace and to jump start a national Move Over AIPAC campaign that exposes one of the largest lobby groups and calls forth a new, just Middle East Policy.
And to learn some great dance moves for youtubes and beyond.
    Plus more observance of Shabbos.

  36. I promise that, within my limited possibilities, I will always speak out for peace. I will condone bigotry and racism and pray with friends of all faiths that we can, together, perhaps create a better world.

  37. Tolerance and Peace is my promise in a world gone bonkers with greed glittering as the ultimate evil facing humankind —- greed for gold, power and property!
May the peoples struggling everywhere in the world, be it Palestine, Kashmir, Iraq, Afghanistan, India, Phillipines etc. for freedom and peace achieve their victory and lose the chains that bind them to the savagery they encounter almost everyday in their lives.
May God’s blessings encompass them all !

  38. Peace, justice, acceptance and love all humanity. Treat others as we would like others to treat us.

  39. I wish all the children of the world a colourfull new year, in which we accept and celebrate that no one is the same. I pray for justice and peace and pray that we are going to listen to eachother instead of shouting, burning of holy books, bumbing and occupation. I promise to share my hope of an other world as much as possible.

  40. I promise to speak out against wrong even when it would be easier to stay silent. I also promise to work for peace between Israel & Palestine.

  41. My promise is to treat everyone with dignity and respect, the way every human being should be treated, regardless of name, social status, sex, creed, race or religion. I have over the years begun a change within my own person and have come to realize that we are all worthy of all the good things life has to offer. The Palestinian people have been suffering long enough under a clamp down-military occupation and this can not continue. I promise to do what I can to bring peace, stability and dignity for the people of Palestine as well as the Israelis.

  42. I promise to defend others without fear for myself or my name !

  43. I promise to never accept intolerance, injustice and oppression and to fight all forms of racism against any people in this world, and to do everything in my power to keep myself from falling into any such bigotry.
I promise to bear in mind that whoever saves a life, it is as if they have saved a whole world, and whoever takes a life, it is as if they have destroyed a whole world.
I hope that those who are compassionate and just prevail and find a way to bring peace and justice for Israelis and Palestinians, two peoples with one future, and I promise to do whatever is in my power to help this become true.
I hope that a new era soon comes in which human beings are the keepers of their smaller brothers and sisters, and of this whole wonderful world and of all the creatures in it.
    Shalom-Salaam-Peace-Paz

  44. I promise that my covenant to be of service shall not be broken.

  45. My commitment is to work for peace in everything that I do, every moment, of every day.

  46. I promise to pray for justice and peace for Israelis and Palestinians.

  47. I promise to do the hard work of peace making in my own life; to engage in non-violent resistance; to write about the people of Beit Ummar, Palestine, whom I met this past summer, to tell of their steadfastness and their suffering under occupation.

  48. That I will redouble my efforts to seek justice and to end injustice, both in my little corner of the world and abroad in such ways that I can make a difference. This includes speaking out in defense of Israel’s existence but in protest and opposition of Israeli policies and actions that are abhorrent to me as a Jew, a mother, a lawyer, and a civil libertarian. That which I would not and do not gloss over and accept without criticism in my own government, I will not tolerate from Israel’s. In so doing, I hope to conduct myself so that my dear father would be proud of me, and so that my daughters will understand his conception of being a Jew through me — to fight for those who are wronged and stand up against social and political injustice and illegality wherever you find it.

  49. Bismillah hiRahman niRahim

I promise to be more patient with things that offend, irk, bore or simply trouble me. Closer to peace and unity.

    Amiin.

  50. I won’t use plastic bags or paper cups. If we are unaware of the harm we do to the earth in unconscious actions, we will be unconscious of actions which hurt other humans. I will remember every time I bring my cup or re-usable bag with me of the metaphor it provides for conscious living.
